Laser Rust Removal for Heavy Equipment & Buckets
Excavator and skid-steer buckets, attachments, blades and forks cleaned for repair, weld work or a fresh coat of paint.
What we clean
- Excavator buckets and thumbs
- Skid-steer and loader buckets
- Quick-attach plates, forks and grapples
- Blades, brackets and mounting points
- Areas that need clean metal before hardfacing or welding
Good to know
- Attachments can come to our Hastings shop, or we bring the laser to your yard when hauling them in does not make sense.
- Grease, dirt and caked-on material should be knocked off first. We will tell you what prep helps when we quote.
- Worn or cracked steel stays worn or cracked. Cleaning makes it easier to see and repair.
- Bare steel starts to rust again if left unprotected, so plan to paint or coat soon after cleaning.
What to send for a quote
- A photo of the whole bucket or attachment
- Close-ups of the areas you want cleaned
- Bucket width or size, and how many pieces
- Where the equipment is, and whether it can be hauled to Hastings
